Reinstating Blogging: Spring Break

It's been a while since my last post and I must add, lack of motivation knocked on my door once again. I believe that a lot has been accomplished and those stories are impatiently awaiting to be told. These past weeks daydreaming has been filled with believes of self-fulfillment and contemplation on what is to be unfold in the upcoming instances of my life.
WTH, let's leave the crap talking behind....Pretty is the name not the way to talk. Freaking awesome how I'm to be called FBLA-PBL VP OF FUNDRAISING!!!! ...*deep-tone voice guy screams "Bravo" on the back, and the crowd stands up and praises resound all over the room*....okay, excitement time is over...for now, cuz hell yeah i've got some more exciting news!!! YAY! wuuuhuhuhu *cheers of encouragement from the crowd*
Okay, perhaps my way to communicate excitement is a little overbearing, but SPRING BREAK is more than enough reason to celebrate, and now is when I omit the screaming. So yeah, that week came around and was definitely...something. First I want to start out by saying that no matter the weather (CLOUDY!) always put SUN BLOCK LOTION on, seriously! or you might end up with a pealing face in the middle of a business conference. Protect your Reputation. :)
Other than that, I want to say my break was privileged by the presence of my wonderful friend Indira who came back home from freaking Jacksonville which is all the way across the globe...well, not really, but I was really happy I got to spend some time with her before I had to leave to Tampa for the Florida FBLA-PBL State Conference. Random TacoBell night, getting a burned pizza, and having to call a buddy over 21 to watch a Movie! ha, it all made me feel sooo....high school :P
NOW, PBL is a BIG deal for me, I believe this organization offers sooo much while taking so little that's not even funny. Between social events, community projects, and the mingling and "liming" it's impossible not to have the time of your life.
The FBLA-PBL State Conference is a big event that brings together all the chapters from the State of Florida to network, and to prove their skills, any kind of skills if you know what I mean; but more than anything it let's you know who's who around you. Btw i must say that I met some pretty incredible people, and I got to bond with the most amazing members I've ever had the pleasure to meet. yeah, you!
The Highlight of the conference was indisputably the amount of awards Florida International University took home. 1st Place CHAPTER REPORT! *people open their eyes wide open* 1st Place with the COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT! *mumblings take over the room* CHAPTER OF THE YEAR!!!! *you can barely hear your neighbor due to the loud cheers* hahaha, I know.
Today I can truly say PRIDE is one of the best feelings in the world and I feel honored to be part of the Greatest chapter in the State of Florida, FIU FBLA-PBL. Did I say state of Florida??? I meant in the Entire freaking Country ^___^ hear that Top 20 business schools in the US? hell yeah, we'd kick ur ass any time..lol
Thank you all for allowing me to enjoy my life to it's fullest, YOU! make me!..HAPPY =D

Ignorance is a drag, curiosity is a bliss

Have you ever run into something that you thought was great, and after "google-ing" about your new discovery you  come to realize that maybe, just maybe, you would have been able to discover this 'something' a while ago??? Bueno it just happened to me, i was bored searching through  YouTube's wide variety of entertainment (glee songs) when i decided to look up flash mobs, and to my surprise i ran into this awesome vid where ryan secrest becomes the target of one of these awesome acts

I must say that the song completely captivated me, and so I decided to look up its lyrics, since my shazam failed to recognize it (in its defense it only recognizes recordings), and as a result i ran into Sixpence None The Richer's Kiss Me, of course now I have it on my personal playlist, but just out of curiosity and after being enchanted by such sweet lyrics I posted the above video on Facebook, googled the band, posted a status about the band, and realized that the leading voice is no one else than Leigh Nash.. "SAY WHAT!?!?!" yeap, my reaction.
*REWIND*
Yasmani (really good old friend): "You should listen to this song..." *looks it up on his iphone*
Me: *♪song playing♫* (immediately became part of favs playlist) "wow, this song is beautiful, who sings it, what song is it???"
Present time: wanna know more..yes you want to, the song is called My Idea of Heaven. who sings it?....Leigh Nash, "SAY WHAT!?!?!" same reaction, right?
Now, even though I 'wikipedia-ed' her (???) never cared about going deeper into her musical career... and my ignorance dragged me into a self-embarrassing moment in my life. Glad is over, TGFG (Thank God for Google)

There is Something About "old shoes"

There are days in life when you realize that even small things can make you feel different, in a good way I mean. Today.... -- yeah, exactly what you are thinking -- today was one of those days.  =)
My shoes (main character of the story aka small-thing-that-can-make-you-feel-different) made my day a whole better..hadnt wore them for at least four months, and when i put them on
ahhhhh *sighs of extreme comfort*
they felt sooo "weightless"?? soft, as if I didnt have shoes on at all, felt I could fly YAY! WINGS ON MY FEET!!!!!!!!!!! *slowly calms down*- sorry about that, thats how good they felt.
and here they are, drums please *drums sound*
<--I must say i think they are awesome
awesome but not superpowerful because although they felt really light, they didnt do much around 6pm on my way to school when traffic got really heavy, and its funny because I just said that they made me feel like I could fly, and now that I think about it that would have been very helpful, dont you think? but well they are some old shoes from Payless not Dorothy's silver slippers ^^
traffic! Miami, I love you.

Since you are reading this why not refresh your busy mind with some of my daily entertaiment
first, some programming that couldnt have been possible without the help of Sunkist....LOL, nah, kidding.. lets give em some credit: Saul and Kevin, thank you. And while we're talking about programming, I alway see this car in Red Garage on my way to class, I think is damn cute (btw, i just highlighted this to match the color of the car..lmao), dont you?? say yes or ur life might be in danger..LOL
