Missed another day, but I've got a valid excuse: [insert valid excuse here]

Day 18 consists of Plans/goals/dreams you have.

I plan to work on my B.S on Information Technology, my Business Admin. Minor, and my National Security Certificate (Tentative for now) for the next 11/2 years.

I want to read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban before year's end.

and a to see snow before I turn 21.

Can't forget the GTL minus the T plus the S (Study), that's gonna get me through life or at least will land me a spot on reality TV ... LOL, nah, but I should start going to the gym.

day 19: Nicknames you have; why do you have them.

PRETTY!!!!!! long story made short I gave myself the name of Miss Pretty, but the Miss got lost along the way, hmmm pretty sure cuz it was too long, no other reason behind that, I'm still single.

some cool peep call me LOCA, but only cuz I'm so awesome it is crrraaazy :P

oh, and at my job they call me GEICO [geh- ee -ko], because I'm shorter and thinner than the average Cuban girl, but no, I'm neither green or bug-eater.

A Bluetooth Story

People ask me why did I get a bluetooth device and here is my explanation:

How many times have you left your phone at home, or inside your car, or have you actually lost it for like ...  ever??? In my special case it has happened countless times.

The reason to get a bluetooth is so that I'm able to answer calls even when my phone gets locked down in a room in one of the buildings of FIU. I have NO access to such room whatsoever, instead I sit by the side of the room with my awesome headset waiting for peep to call me until I can get it out...

If your wondering, yes, I AM sitting outside CBC's Organization room at 7:15am because of such situation, better yet, I got here at 6:45am to get my phone just to find out that the building is locked down til what I'm guessing 7am; another thing, you might think I might have access to the office since I'm...well, part of an organization, but I don't, so now I'm sitting right across that room until someone with such privileges shows up.

I loved that day. I woke up really early to see the sun come up and even saw a shark by the shore. not to mention I discovered a new place, relatively cheap place, by the Beach!

Your husband asked (in a funny tone to say the least) for a waiter that didn't forget orders, so I told the waiter what your husband had asked for. How is it possible that that can upset someone? Whatever the waiter said has nothing to do with my wonderful lovable LIFE. I truly tried to understand what was going through your mind when you called me out but have come to nothing. Back in the days I wanted to become a web page designer and one of the best starts was to create a blog... Googled: " blog " and Blogger came up...

this first blog found itself forgotten on the shelves of internet picking only but dust ...wait, is that possible??? oh, well. 

Now, I dont remember why i started this blog in particular, probably a constant need for attention and the fact that my writing tends to be more cohesive than my speaking  ;)

Short term goals for this month and why.


1. Enjoy every class I'll be taking this semester, because i plan to boost up my GPA for the rest of my college life
2. Plan and market my PBL's chapter Free Enterprise Project, because i want to feel proud of my own work
3. Meet tons of new people, at least 20 new people, make them feel involved in our organization, FBLA-PBL FTW!
4. Read HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban, 'cause reading never gets old
5. Get to see the sunrise from the beach :) it's a beautiful feeling
6. Go with the flow, because the unexpected always happens, I just need to accept it and overcome it.

I blame popular culture for the inconsistency of my predictions, more like, I blame the writers and producers that can't meet my expectations.... 

My list starts with Disney and The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Simply because Quasimodo should have beaten that blonde dude down and won Esmeralda's love; but instead the hot hunk gets the sexy gypsy girl.. I'm just gonna give you a real life example, Shakira! sexy gypsy with a bf with an ass face... I'm just saying Disney got it all wrong. I think they got my complaint and that's why they had to come up with Movie número 2.

Then we have The Twilight Saga...

Why in hell did Bella choose Edward again ??? F$cking asshole made me cry throughout the beginning of the second book. I've hated Mr. Sucker ever since that incident. I've been waiting for Bella to realize Jacob was the real deal, but no, she's this little brat with a suicidal persona. But I'll tell you why she chooses Edward. Well, Edward is white and has a lot of money, not to mention he has traveled the world (EUROPA! and he's a Republican who supports Sara Palin and volunteered for her campaign when she was running for governor... hhhmmm, let's just say i might have made that last part up, but he is a Republican), and sucked hundreds of pu$$ies necks, which gives him "experience" with women. This argument is followed by the obvious, Jacob is a poor Indian boy and a mechanic (which means he's mostly covered in oil, which makes him a dirty Indian) who has never put a foot/paw out of Washington state. Sooo white American girl with Indian boy is a no no, but white girl and Serial Killer is a win win. go figure.

Another couple I'd like to see are Elena and Damon (The Vampire's Diaries), simply because their constant hate relationship is really sexy, and, did anyone watch them dance on the beauty pageant episode?? the way they stared at each other was just perfectly HOT!

But the one couple that truly broke my heart was Forrest and Jenny (Forrest Gump). The producers couldn't get him a nice girlfriend, he was in love with the wrong person and don't matter how the movie goes, she just had sex with him, happened to get pregnant and contacted him again not 'cause she Loved him, but because she needed him to take care of her kid... Yeah, she had a hard life, especially as a child but she also had the chance to have a good life but simply decided to take the easy way out, sex and drugs. For all I care she used him. OH, she also contacted him because he was white and rich! 

In conclusion, the world needs to adapt their stories to whatever I say.

Why would you even bother to ask; oh well, I guess that's part of the process. She is more like the heroine of heroines. I know super-powers are overrated but no one said anything about the to-be-pure-AWESOME power.

Here are some reasons to love Hit Girl:

First. She knows how to handle knives! 

and her throat cutting can come in handy on Christmas season when my family needs to slash that big fat Puerco, and cocinarlo on the Caja China.

Second. She know how to throw that thing and swing from building to building

in my experience, tree swinging can be dangerous so building to building is just hysterically cool.

and Finally. She knows how to shoot a F#cking gun.

 I was born in the biggest island of the Antilles, I have visited the beautiful city of D.C., and I've enjoyed watching the most wonderful sunsets by the countryside. Truth is, I might have been here and there but the best place is where my friends are at.

my sister says that that's called being me, so now I'm starting to think that maybe I do want to be scared of stepping up to people, not really but sometimes, well that I do (my genes are pussies not me), so maybe I'll take it up a notch and do it most of the time.

THE NAKED LIFE is my way of putting everything out there (package includes: feelings, ideologies, and experiences). And contrary to common believe, not so much to do with me naked *LOL* but more of --and excuse the cliché-- the essence of my soul, more of me inside out; and not to be mistaken for the potion in Moste Potente Potions book which literally turns you inside out (ref. to HP and The Chamber of Secrets  :P  ).

1. I wanted to be an artist, like a painter or something.
2. I like going to the park and getting to smell the fresh grass.
3. My dream wedding would be in front of a lake at sundown.
4. I broke my chin when I was young but I can't remember exactly how old I was.

6. If I ever own a house I imagine having a swing hanging from an old tree.
7. I witnessed a robbery from my cousin's balcony when was 8yrs-old, it was heartbreaking.
